Soil and pasture vary greatly throughout the UK. If a horse grazes on a sandy pasture, small amounts of sand and dirt will inevitably be ingested which, over time, may build up in the gut. Our improved formula Sandout powder should be fed for one week each month to horses or ponies grazing on sandy pastures. A veterinary surgeon may also recommend Sandout in other situations, and will advise accordingly. Important note for feeding: Do not add to wet food, or allow to soak up moisture as this will activate the product before reaching the gut. If you do need to add to soaked feed we reccomend keeping as dry as possible and adding immediately before feeding.
